PBS | Citizen NOW

Citizen NOW is a prototype project to empower people to independently or collaboratively create, share, and experience relevant news that leverages the credibility of NOW on PBS and removes the barrier between broadcaster and audience.

The project is a collaboration between PBS NOW (content), Method Studios (design), Almer/Blank (development) and AFI DCL (American Film Institute Digital Content Lab). The AFI DCL incubates new forms of entertainment programming on digital platforms from idea to audience. It pairs design and technology experts with professionals to create content for new and emerging digital media.
